History
Sales Recruiters is a subsidiary of Edensilk Pty Ltd, founded and based in Perth, Western Australia in 1993.
Having the right sales people was a critical factor in Edensilk's early success as a software dealer, growing a client base from 60 to 600 corporate clients in the first 6 years.
During this time Edensilk sought assistance from many consultancies and employment agencies; but was generally disappointed with what was offered, and even more disappointed with what was not delivered!
Recognising that you simply cannot grow a business without good sales personnel - no matter how good your products are, or how well the rest of your business is functioning - Edensilk looked further afield for input.
Edensilk's own business growth and employment systems were based on research conducted among the most successful Fortune 500 companies in the US during the late 20th century.
In regard to sales recruitment, Edensilk's various business contacts in the US spent literally millions of dollars and many years finding out specifically what makes a top sales performer. Then they tried and tested numerous methods for reliably identifying those characteristics.
Edensilk practiced and refined these techniques within their own business, and then as one of many services to other businesses as Edensilk transformed itself into a comprehensive business development consultancy (www.edensilk.com.au) by this time offering the kind of help to others that it was unable to source for itself when it was needed in earlier years.
Recognising the enormous world-wide need for effective sales recruitment, Edensilk subsequently launched the specialized Sales Recruiters as an independent enterprise structured for international expansion.
The service offered is a straightforward and complete methodology for sourcing and selecting the most effective and self-motivated sales people.
This methodology is proven, well documented, and has so far been licensed nationally to suitably experienced and motivated past sales managers operating as coaches in a manner similar to a franchise so that quality and service standards are maintained.
