GetSales ("GetSales", "we", "us", "our") is operated by Alchemized Co. from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through getsales.com.au in the course of running a business-to-business (B2B) lead supply service for Australian trade and service operators.

We are committed to handling personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Where information you provide relates to a company or trading entity rather than an individual, it may not be personal information under the Act — we still handle it with care.

1. What we collect

When you submit our enquiry form or otherwise contact us, we collect information that you choose to provide, together with limited technical data. This typically includes:

  • Your name and (where provided) job title.
  • Your business email address and phone number.
  • Your business or trading name.
  • The service category and geographic territory you're interested in.
  • Any comments, notes or attachments you include with your enquiry.
  • Basic technical information collected automatically by our hosting provider, including your IP address, user-agent string, referring URL, and general request metadata used for security, abuse prevention and rate limiting.

We do not deliberately collect sensitive information (such as health, racial, political or biometric information). Please don't include sensitive information in enquiry forms.

2. How we use it

We use the information you provide to:

  • Respond to your enquiry and contact you back about lead supply.
  • Confirm whether your territory and service category are available.
  • Send you quotes, availability notices and related B2B correspondence.
  • Maintain records of business enquiries and dealings.
  • Protect the site against spam, abuse and automated submissions (including via rate limiting and challenge widgets).
  • Comply with our legal and record-keeping obligations.

We do not sell your information. We do not add you to unrelated marketing lists. Our contact-back may be by email, SMS or phone, using the details you supply.

3. Where it's stored

Enquiry submissions are stored on Cloudflare's global edge platform (Cloudflare Workers KV and related services), which processes and replicates data across data centres worldwide. Our email correspondence and CRM records are stored inside Google Workspace, hosted by Google LLC. Both providers apply industry-standard security controls and, where applicable, contractual protections consistent with cross-border transfer requirements under the APPs.

We retain enquiry data for as long as needed to respond, to run the business relationship, and to meet legal record-keeping obligations, after which we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

4. Who we share it with

We may share your information with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the site (hosting, email, analytics, spam protection) — bound to handle it only as we direct.
  • Related entities within the Alchemized group where necessary to respond to you.
  • Regulators, law enforcement or others where required or permitted by law.

We do not disclose enquiry contents to competitors or to other operators in your territory.

5. Your rights under the APPs

You have the right to ask us to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct information you believe is inaccurate or out of date.
  • Delete information we no longer need to keep.
  • Stop contacting you about lead supply.

To make a request, or if you believe we've mishandled your personal information, please email [email protected]. We aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can escalate to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

6. Cookies and analytics

This site uses only the minimum cookies and local storage needed to operate (for example, spam-protection tokens). We may add privacy-respecting analytics in future; if we do, we'll update this policy first.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
